The body is carved from a single piece of mahogany, a wood that possess exceptional resonating characteristics and is therefore a very popular wood in instrument building. The Headliner Djembes receive an exotic piece of artwork that together with the chord tensioning system ensures for authentic and premium look. The chord is 3mm thick, and distributed over 10loops and comes pre- tuned. This guarantees the best possible sound of the hand selected goat hide and the mahogany body.
