Use the semi-weighted keyboard to record expressive parts directly and record automations with the ergonomic pitch and mod wheels. The TRS pedal input can be switched between Sustain and Expression.

Improvise More Freely with the Smart Play Function

The Smart Play function makes improvising and experimenting even easier. There are 100 scales and modes to choose from, limiting the keyboard's keys to those notes and allowing you to let loose musically without the risk of playing inappropriate notes. This function also lets you play chord progressions and arpeggios with single keys.

Deep and intuitive software control

The A-Series is not just a keyboard for playing instruments, but also works great as a flexible and intuitive master controller for software. Eight touch-sensitive knobs, four-direction push encoders and tag-based browsing make it easy to browse sounds, adjust effects and record automation. An OLED display provides visual feedback at all times. Operation for KOMPLETE instruments and effects is preconfigured, but full support for VSTi and VST effects is also provided. With the A-Series keyboards, MASCHINE software can be controlled seamlessly, and intuitive control of Logic Pro X, Ableton Live, Cubase, Nuendo and GarageBand is also possible.
