Ortega RUEL-MBK

Thanks to its laminated materials, the Ortega RUEL-MBK produces an extensive sound that is particularly pronounced in the mid and treble frequencies. In addition, the top is provided with an eye-catching metallic finish, which gives the overall appearance a very fancy touch. The flat neck, which is equipped with 18 frets, provides for the optimal playability. The headstock is also lacquered and has translated tuners which guarantee easy tuning of the 4 nylon strings. The scope of delivery of the concert ukulele includes a bag.

Construction and woods

Since the top is made of laminated spruce, the instrument develops a bright and assertive sound. The laminated Catalpa body complements the tone with warm bass frequencies, making the ukulele ideal for both Pickings and strumming. The flat mahogany neck features a walnut fingerboard for easy access to all frets.

Hardware and Design

To ensure that the instrument intonates cleanly over the entire scale length of 380 mm, the saddle and the 36 mm wide nut are perfectly matched. At the same time, the gold die-cast tuners with black buttons allow for precise tuning. While the top and the Headplate are equipped with a beautiful high-gloss finish, the body and the back of the neck come with a very thin matt finish. The visual highlight is undoubtedly the filigree element inlay in the fingerboard.
