The DW PDP CM7 drums in Cherry Stain are designed for beginners and advanced drummers with high demands who value high-end workmanship at a fair price. The seven-piece drum kit impresses with STM tom suspensions, TruePitch tension rods and the professional workmanship, which is more than up to any tour and several studio stays with the band.
The special Cherry Stain finish, which additionally underlines the custom drum character, gives the final visual touch. The shells consist of seven layers of maple for bass drums/toms and even 10 for the snare, which, in combination with the high-quality shell hardware and Remo heads, results in a projection-rich, warm sound that will more than satisfy even professionals. Even an extremely high-quality hardware package is included in the delivery.
The features of this set include proven DW innovations such as the Suspension Tom Mount, which allows maximum resonance of the drum shells, True Pitch tension rods, which prevent the drum from being constantly retightened, and professional cast claws for the bass drum.
The snare drum is also fully equipped with the finest DW has to offer. The proven MAG Throw Off system guarantees the perfect hold for the wire with the simplest operability. With its dual-turret lugs, the snare drum not only looks noble, but also has another feature that gives it unlimited sound variety.
The shells consist of eight layers of maple wood, which means the sound is extremely rich, dynamic and warm. The shells are factory-equipped with Remo heads and are fitted with precisely made and balanced steel hoops from Drum Workshop. This makes them unbeatable in tunability as well as sound.
