The set combines the power and flexibility of Sennheiser's ew 500 G4 wireless series with the world-renowned quality of Neumann's KK 205 supercardioid condenser capsule.
This makes the Vocal Set Special Edition particularly suitable for vocals and speech on stage and in other feedback-prone environments.
Super-cardioid condenser capsule KK 205 from Neumann
The KK 205 is a capsule head with premium sound quality thanks to a precision-manufactured Neumann condenser capsule. Unlike conventional stage microphones, the KK 205 from Neumann uses a true condenser capsule. At the same time, the KK 205 has the necessary robustness for stage operation. The KK 205 from Neumann can handle enormous sound pressure levels of up to 150 dB without clipping; the uniform supercardioid characteristic guarantees high feedback resistance. It has a much flatter frequency response and airier highs than dynamic microphones, as well as significantly superior impulse response. The result is a more direct, emotional vocal sound.
The KK 205 is designed for low lip spacing; a fixed bass roll-off compensates for the proximity effect and guarantees clear bass transmission. The microphone basket is made of hardened steel and includes a highly effective pop screen that also keeps moisture away from the capsule. Finally, the Neumann KK 205 is equally suitable for in-ear monitoring as well as conventional monitoring.

The Wireless Systems Manager software is for the 300 Series and 500 Series that Control Cockpit is for the 300 Series. These software variants make the monitoring of multichannel systems very simple and ensure a perfect workflow.
