With the Sigma SDR-41 Limited Edition, the manufacturer Sigma presents a special edition in the classic dreadnought format, which is equipped with selected woods and high-quality hardware. The instrument, limited to 60 pieces, produces a very rich and well-balanced sound thanks to its fully solid construction, which unfolds quickly and over a wide area even at low strings. In addition to rich ornamentation and inlay work, the Sigma SDR-41 Limited Edition impresses with its timeless and noble appearance. The instrument comes with a robust softshell case, which is equipped with sturdy backpack straps.

Woods and construction

To generate clear mid and treble frequencies, the manufacturer relies on the wood of the North American Sitka spruce for the top construction, whose sound characteristics are perfectly complemented by the powerful and defined bass frequencies of the rosewood body. At the same time, the flat mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard allows for easy fingering in all 20 frets, which intonate cleanly in all registers and are decorated with elaborate inlays.

Design and Hardware

Equipped with gold Grover open-gear tuners, the Sigma SDR-41 gets a very traditional visual touch that is topped off by multi-ply bindings and a multi-stripe soundhole rosette. Even the black ebony bridge is adorned with filigree snowflake inlays, creating a decidedly harmonious overall look that does full justice to the limited edition. The body is refined by a high-gloss finish.
