The Sonor AQ2 Studio Bop Set TQZ in Titanium Quartz is a four-piece drum set for advanced drummers or ambitious beginners with 7-ply drum shells made of maple. The small size of the Bop Kit makes it suitable for every conceivable situation; whether in the rehearsal room, on stage or in the closet. The drums are made by Sonor and are manufactured according to the proven CLTF principle, i.e. the wood layers are cross-glued at a 90° angle. The lugs of the AQ2 series from Sonor are all equipped with the TuneSafe system for constant tuning. The bearing edges of the shell are 45°, thus creating an exact head support and a focused tone. The new Sonor Smart Mount Tom suspension was developed in Germany and ensures low shell contact and unhindered resonance.
The tom-toms of the Sonor AQ2 series are suspended by the Smart Mount System. This innovative mounting system for drums was manufactured by Sonor in Germany and convinces with its minimalist design and high functionality. The suspension has only two points of contact with the drum shell and allows it to resonate completely free. The Sonor Smart Mount System has a suspension rail integrated directly into the lug and a high-quality hard rubber buffer between the shell and rail for more resonance and balanced sustain.
The Sonor AQ2 series is available in five different configurations (Stage, Studio, Bop, Safari and Martini). So the right drum kit is available for every application and musical style. No matter if small club gig, street music, recording studio or big festival - there is the right drumset for everyone. In addition, four high-quality lacquer finishes and one wrap finish are available. A special feature of the Sonor AQ2 series is that every drum size in every finish is also available as a single drum, so your own set-up can be extended and changed as desired.
