What sound and what applications does the TF11 offer me?
The Telefunken TF11 FET is the entry-level model of the Alchemy series and is equipped with a capsule modeled after the AKG C-12. The microphone is suitable foralmost any application and delivers a full, pleasant and warm, vintage sound. Especially acoustic instruments benefit from such a sound coloration and can thus be placed better in the mix.
Which components were used?
In the design of the TF11 FET, Telefunken has placed emphasis on the very best components: Nichicon electrolyticcapacitors, an expensive Styroflex capacitor for decoupling the capsule, a Carnhill output transformer, and in addition a spartan circuit design that promises a fast impulse response.
