The KuSh Audio UBK Fatso Dual Channel Character Compressor is a redesigned version of the classic Empirical Labs product with modifications by Gregory Scott (UBK).

The compressor section of the UBK Fatso has been completely redesigned to provide musical results regardless of the style of the original material. 7 unique compression presets and intuitive controls give the user a remarkable range of character and flavour.

The tape saturation effect will give you sweet harmonic distortion and transient soft clipping, reducing the digital harshness of the original material. The UBK Fatso can subtly or dramatically alter the sound of your mix with the twist of a knob.

The Warmth Generator section with its 7 discrete threshold levels will soften and saturate the high frequency content of your signal, taming the unwanted digital edginess of the sound.

The Transformer Coloration will give your bass a little more grit and growl, making it more audible on smaller speakers. This function also gives acoustic guitars a shimmery edge and provide drums and vocals with air and presence.
