What does the iXm do?

The iXm from Yellowtec is a high-quality handheld microphone with integrated digital recorder for uncomplicated and high-quality recordings of interviews. The innovative control processor'LEA' always guarantees an optimal level without annoying AGC pumping, clipping or artifacts. The microphone heads of the iXm are interchangeable and can thus be optimally adjusted to the respective application(omnidirectional, cardioid, supercardioid). The power supply is provided by a sophisticated Stamina system, consisting of a high-quality lithium-ion battery and three AA cells, which are used as needed and thus provide a runtime of up to 14 hours.

Recordings are made to an SD card of up to 32GB with a 30-second pre-roll - so you won't miss anything even if recording starts a little late.

What are its possible applications?

The beyerdynamic cardioid microphone head is designed for recording in busy environments. It is suitable for recording interviews in busy environments, voice recordings at your own desk or other applications where a good suppression of ambient noise is required.
