Innovative and versatile

As the counterpart to the widely acclaimed V7 vocal microphone, the V7 X offers the same high quality, performance and advanced design – whilst being fully optimised for instruments.

The microphone has been developed to capture virtually any instrument with the highest possible quality – from wind instruments, through drums such as snares and toms, to electric guitar amps and bass amps. To achieve this, the manufacturer has utilised a custom-made voice coil, capsule and an innovative acoustic design. The result is a high-quality sound that features rich bass as well as clear treble.

Advanced design

The exclusively developed aluminium moving coil gives the microphone a very direct and open sound. Thanks to its supercardioid polar pattern, the pickup pattern focuses entirely on the instrument in question. Combined with its high resistance to feedback, the sE Electronics V7 X consistently delivers the ideal signal, even on stages with multiple instruments.

Particularly practical for everyday (stage) use is the innovative mounting system, which has also been patented: this decouples the capsule from the housing, resulting in less background noise such as footfall and handling noise.

Robust construction with practical features

The build quality of the sE Electronics V7 X is designed entirely with durability in mind: metal is used instead of plastic, ensuring the microphone can easily withstand a wide range of stresses. For example, with the spring steel grille, you needn’t worry about potential deformation or corrosion. The gold-plated XLR contacts are also protected against corrosion and offer particularly high reliability.

Among the instrument microphone’s useful features are its bevelled edges: these prevent the V7 X from rolling away unintentionally on flat surfaces. Another advantage of this model is the integrated windscreen, which reduces pop and wind noise.
