With the sE8 VE stereo set sElectronics offers two handmade small diaphragm condenser microphones for studio as well as live applications. Besides the special and very balanced sound characteristics, which make the sE8 VE perfect for high-hats and overheads, a very high dynamic range as well as the ability to handle extremely high sound pressure levels are convincing. In addition, the built-in pad switch allows you to attenuate incoming signals in two steps (-10,-20dB). And although the microphone is very compact, it is capable of capturing a wide frequency range of 20-20,000Hz, which pays off in many situations. Depending on the application, unwanted frequencies can also be cut: Here, another switch is available for two high-pass filter settings at 80 and 160Hz. For optimal stereo recordings, the set comes with a stereo bar.
