I didn’t expect to fall in love with a microphone stand, yet here we are. This boom arm feels less like an accessory and more like a loyal studio assistant with excellent posture. From the moment I mounted my Rode NT1 5th Generation, it was clear this stand was built with both strength and style in mind.
The construction is impressively robust—no wobbling, no nervous tremors, just calm confidence. The metal finish looks sleek on the desk, giving the whole setup a professional, almost cinematic vibe. It doesn’t scream for attention; it simply sits there looking elegant, like it knows it’s doing a good job.
What really stands out are the articulations. The joints move with smooth, buttery precision and, more importantly, they stay exactly where you leave them. No slow drifting, no need to retighten every five minutes. I can position the mic millimetre-perfect for voiceovers or singing and trust it will remain loyal to that position like a well-trained butler.
Cable management is clean, the mounting clamp feels secure, and the whole arm balances the NT1 effortlessly despite its weight. Whether I’m recording whispers or enthusiastic podcast rants, the stand stays calm and composed.
In short, this is not just a piece of hardware—it’s the reliable backbone of my studio. If your Rode NT1 deserves a throne rather than a wobbly perch, this stand is exactly that. Highly recommended.
