The TC Electronic Brainwaves is an advanced Pitch Shifter effect pedal for Electric Guitar. The pedal also features Whammy mode, which allows you to make explosive dive-bomb sounds when you press the patented MASH footswitch, without undue stress to your strings or complicated floating bridge systems.
The Detune mode offers a wealth of opportunities to the modern Guitarist, allowing you to change the pitch of your instrument in an instant, widening your sound and giving you plenty of tonal options to experiment with. The pitch shifting mode allows you to add up to 2x extra voices to your sound, above or below the original signal’s pitch.
The 4x dials on this pedal help you forge unique sounds. 2x Voice dials control how much you shift your pitch by (up to 2-octaves) and whether you shift it up or down. The Mix dial lets you choose how dry or wet you want the effect, but also the pressure sensitive footswitch lets you control how much of the effect is applied to your signal on the fly.
The FX Type switch switches between several modes; Detune mode (as discussed above) allows you to open up your range and thicken your sound, while retaining clarity with complex chords and excessive gain. Whammy mode gives you the ability to recreate whammy bar style dive-bombs and Pitch mode allows multiple pitched voices.

Ich habe dieses Gerät mit der Erwartung gekauft, dass er ähnlich tolle chorus Sounds im Detune Modus erreicht wie das g Major oder das g System. Leider weit davon entfernt, Latenz, digital toter Sound! Mir fällt tatsächlich nicht ein, wozu dieses Gerät zu gebrauchen ist. Und geht desshalb zurück.
