I first bought one of these over 12 years ago and only now I need a new one and only because I dropped my original one. These are the best stands I have ever had, I have also used the cheaper options but they don't last a few years. I assure you if you look after this stand it will last a decade at least. They also sell just the boom arm if that happens to wear out first.
