Built surprisingly sturdy and basically does what one wants.
Xlr inputs & individual cables could have been thicker, and more robust, but for small studios this gets the job done! Overall very good, and beats the competition by a long shot when regarding the price.
I was in the market for a stage snake that suited my needs for my studio build, that wasn’t bulky, oversized or had a stupidly long length. I discovered MUSIC STORE and I must say, I love there products. Since buying the stage snake, I have bought many other connections. If your looking for a multicore that suits a small band, studio or even just a small sound rig, this is the one for you! I honestly couldn’t fault this product build for the price.
I use the multicore cable in studio environment, and this piece is really a winner - first of all it fills a gap on the market providing only 8 channels instead of 12 to 24 (which is what I have been looking for), second it is a hard box in one end and not only loose lines, which is strangely rare these days, third, it comes in reasonable 5 m length (not the 10-15 meters that is common) which makes it easy to use and roll, and fourth, it comes with an extremely attractive price tag!
My only concern is for the long-term use as the XLR inputs in the box do seem to be of lower-end quality, which is noticeable when plugging a connector in and out, but so far everything works fine. Thanks for a great product Music store!
I'd just got to the stage in my home studio where it was becoming impractical to run full length cables everywhere. This nice little piece of kit has tidied my space and improved my workflow.
