The Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K features a 4/3 image sensor with 4096 x 2160 resolution, putting everything you need in the palm of your hand to capture Hollywood-quality, wide dynamic range cinematic digital images. The MFT mount allows you to use super-compact, lightweight, and affordable lenses, so you can take the camera anywhere - even to locations that would be unsuitable for larger cameras.
Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Cameras outperform basic video cameras because you can create Hollywood-quality looks with the professional features of Pocket Cinema Cameras. The combination of high dynamic range, great low-light performance, and Blackmagic RAW gives you feature film images with accurate skin tones and gorgeous natural colors. There are 4K and 6K models that give you advanced features like a large 5-inch LCD for easy focusing, an EF or MFT lens mount, and more.
Both cameras record to SD and CFast cards, as well as external media via USB-C. Plus, DaVinci Resolve Studio for editing, color grading, audio post-production and VFX is included.
The BlackMagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K has a dynamic range of 13 stops and dual native ISO of up to 25,600 for HDR images. Moreover, it brings superior low-light performance. Together with an ATEM Mini mixer, Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Cameras can also be used as studio cameras. Video and control signals are transmitted via the HDMI port, immediately after the cameras are connected. The recording light then acts as a tally, indicating which camera is on air.
The Camera Workspace in ATEM Software Control provides a CCU-like camera control interface for adjusting and matching your cameras. By moving the CCU slider vertically, you control the iris; by moving it left or right, you adjust the black level. Just like a broadcast CCU! Also included are controls for color tinting to match cameras, as well as focus, gain, and shutter speed. You can even record isolated feeds in Blackmagic RAW in the camera for later editing.

The 6K model is equipped with an EF lens mount, so you can continue to use your existing lenses from other cameras like DSLRs, the URSA Mini Pro, or even the original Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. This allows you to use photographic lenses available anywhere, giving you incredible creative possibilities for beautiful images with true feature film quality lens effects. The active lens mount allows you to adjust focus and aperture using the buttons on the camera or the touchscreen. For even more flexibility, the MFT lens mount on the 4K model can be converted for PL, C, EF, or other lens types
Despite their small, portable size, Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Cameras have a variety of audio, monitoring, power and other connections. For monitoring, there's a full-size HDMI port that supports HDR output and 10-bit clean feeds. and control images with or without overlays containing important information and camera status, you can easily connect the camera to an HDMI display or TV at Set.
Also on board are a mini-XLR input with 48V phantom power for professional microphones, a 3.5mm jack for video camera-style microphones, a headphone jack, and a professional DC power connector with locking mechanism. The USB-C port lets you connect drives and record directly to them.
