Beatrix (Phaser) - Expert Sleepers

Phaser Effect

Expert Sleepers presents Beatrix, a transistor-based OTA phaser with a beautiful, charismatic sound. The effects module not only produces the popular, gritty phaseshifter sounds, it also has a special offset control that allows you to shift the filter notches without affecting the resonant frequency. The "Phase" toggle switch deactivates phasing and turns Beatrix into a resonant peak filter. The "SUM" switch creates a filtered version of the first phasing effect. The analog circuit is also capable of self-oscillation. The four control voltage inputs are dedicated to the parameters frequency, offset, modulation depth and Feedback; in combination with various LFOs this creates a very organic and lively sound.
