The Fame A-20 12-Fret Parlour transports with its compact design, its traditional look and its tonewoods the charm of the early Western guitar. Already with light strokes, defined and at the same time warm midrange frequencies unfold, so that the instrument is perfectly suited for blues picking. The most striking attributes are undoubtedly the open headstock and the neck/body transition at the 12th fret. In addition to multi-ply bindings, the instrument is decorated with inlays of abalone, which tastefully match the color and fine grain of the materials used. The entire appearance is refined by a very thin high-gloss varnish.
So that the compact acoustic guitar produces a powerful sound, the top is made of solid mahogany. Thus, each tone unfolds with a quick response and smoothly transitions into the next. At the same time, the laminated mahogany body enriches the bass and midrange frequencies with a warm note that perfectly complements the overall sound. The flat mahogany neck is fitted with an ebony fingerboard, which is exceptionally easy and obliging to finger in all 19 frets.

The guitar is equipped with a Fishman Sonitone pickup system so that the sound can be transmitted to the amplifier without distortion. The output signal and the tone can be adjusted individually and conveniently via a control in the sound hole. The pickup point is located in the form of a piezo pickup under the bridge inlay. The active system is powered by a 9V block battery, which is stowed in a separate battery compartment next to the jack.
