With the Les Paul Special 2016 Limited , the traditional Gibson American company presents one of the first Limited runs for the still young model year. Built on feedback from the global Gibson dealer community, these instruments, available in extremely limited quantities only, offer a number of features that make them the ideal rock guitar.
The construction of the Gibson Les Paul Special 2016 Limited follows the traditional guidelines. The neck and body are made of mahogany and glued together to give the guitar the legendary wamen and singing Les Paul sound, which can be heard on countless albums of the most different genres.
Two in-house P90 pickups will be used for sound conversion on the Gibson Les Paul Special 2016 Limited . These powerful single coils deliver an expressive, voluminous sound, which is characterized by a rich warmth and clear highs and is therefore excellent for almost all varieties of the Rock suitable. Both P90s can be selected individually or together using the 3-way toggle switch, while individual volume and tone controls are available to control the sound.
The Gibson Lightnig Bar Wrap Around Bridge guarantees a perfect resonance transmission thanks to its construction and thus contributes to the characteristic sound of Les Paul Special 2016 Limited . At the same time, the compensated string rest ensures clean intonation, while the height-adjustable bearing on two pins allows the string rest to be adjusted quickly and precisely.
