The Kawai CA-99 B digital piano is the evolution of the Kawai CA-98, featuring the Grand Feel III keyboard action, a new type of sound generation,a soundboard system, new speakers developed in collaboration with Onkyo, and a 5" touchscreen. The CA99 B is equipped with Bluetooth MIDI and Bluetooth Audio technology, providing wireless communication with supported smart devices such as smartphones or tablets.
High-quality sound generation
The Kawai CA-99 B includes a high-quality sound generation and a selection of 90 sounds. This is provided by an SK-EX rendering multi-channel sound engine. Virtual Technician parameters in the piano provide precise control over the attack, release, and sustain characteristics of each sound.
New Speaker System
For optimal sound reproduction, the Kawai CA-99 B features a powerful high-fidelity amplifier system from Onkyo and high-quality speaker units with a speaker diffuser panel. These specially designed components extend the sound projection of the piano in all directions, creating a 360-degree sound field that allows the Kawai to sound natural anywhere in the room.
5" touchscreen
A large, full-colour 5" touchscreen display with a user interface optimized for pianists provides easy access to all of the CA 99 B's features.
Bluetooth MIDI and Bluetooth Audio Technology
The Bluetooth audio function in the Kawai CA-99 B supports the advanced aptX algorithm, which allows high-quality audio signals to be streamed wirelessly and with minimal latency directly to the amplifier and speaker system.
