The Ortega RCE133-7 at a glance

With the Ortega RCE133-7, the traditional manufacturer presents the Brazilian version of the classical guitar, which characteristically has seven strings. This makes it perfect for choro and samba and, thanks to the Ortega Magus PRO/G pickup system with an integrated tuner, it can also be played to perfection on stage. Its beautiful tone is complemented by a pleasant feel and a discreet, beautiful design. For safe transport, the Ortega Deluxe gig bag is included.

Structure & Sound

Due to its 4/4 construction, the R133-7 has a large sound box, which produces an assertive sound. The additional low string gives the basses a more pronounced sound than traditional classical guitars. The sound is complemented by the solid spruce top, which adds a bright note to the overall sound, making it unique. At the same time, the matte finish ensures a pristine and concise sound.

Comfortable handling for long gaming sessions

Particularly user-friendly handling is made possible by the 60 mm wide saddle, with the help of which even complex fingerings are possible without any complications. In addition, it ideally fulfils the requirements necessary for fingerpicking. Even the high registers are easily accessible thanks to the generous cutaway. At the same time, the Nato neck with walnut fingerboard lies comfortably in the hand, while the more voluminous design is especially suitable for tall guitarists.

Pickup system
Pickup system with integrated tuner for great performances

Even amplified playing is possible with the RCE133-7. It features the in-house MagusPRO/G pickup system, which provides pristine output. In addition to the volume control, it has an equalizer, with the help of which the individual adjustment of basses, mids and trebles is possible. The electronics are rounded off by an integrated tuner, which guarantees a sound-assured performance at all times.
