Every DJ knows the need to record a mix quickly and easily - preferably without a computer. This is exactly where Reloop's TAPE comes in and enables simple, secure recording as an MP3 file in the retro design of a classic cassette. Operation is intuitive and explained in three simple steps: 1. plug in the USB stick, 2. connect the mixer with the input cable, 3. press the record button - and the fun can begin. The highlight of the Reloop tape is that the recording is immediately converted to an MP3 file and saved on the USB stick. This MP3 file can be shared with others or played back in a media player without any complicated burning process. Thanks to the integrated phono/line circuit with GND screw, digitising vinyl classics is a straightforward affair. Even DJ mixers without a separate record output can be connected, as Reloop has integrated an intelligent thru port that forwards the signal to an amplifier or loudspeaker. The recording quality can be switched between 192 or 320 kbps, depending on quality requirements or storage capacity. Practical status LEDs indicate whether the device is being supplied with power, a USB medium is connected, a recording is in progress or whether the recording signal is too loud and may be distorted.
