The Roland RDH-100 Kick Drum Pedal is a professionally designed Bass Drum Pedal for V-Drums with patented Noise Eater technology. It absorbs the sound made by the foot when playing, greatly reducing extraneous sound. This is achieved by a special damping system under the base plate of the RDH-100. A robust Dual Chain-Drive, a self-aligning beater and a round chain-ring provide soft and natural playing feel.
75% Reduced Impact Sound
Roland's RDH-100 features patented rubber padding under the base plate that reduce vibration by 75%. If you want to practice V-Drums at home without disturbing your neighbours, the Roland Noise Eater technology makes this possible. The Pedal was developed for the Roland V-Drums, but is suitable for any other E-Drum set and can even be used with Acoustic Bass Drums.
Professional Processing
The RDH-100 Pedal has a very stable Dual Chain Drive, which in combination with the round chain-ring creates a very soft and extremely natural feel. The spring tension is adjustable, so every Drummer can find a suitable setting, whilst the beater adjusts itself, i.e. it positions itself automatically and offers the optimal angle to avoid false triggers.

Roland RDH-100 Kick Drum PedalI opted for this product without much research on alternatives because I have a Roland set with a KD-10 kick trigger pad. For this price, I expected the pedal to fit perfectly with any Roland pad, but it is no the case. The attachment between pad and pedal is not very secure. Maybe Roland intends this pedal to fit well only with higher end pads like KD-120/140.
Apart from this, the pedal is great, easy to adjust, good feel and of course, efficient noise dampening bumpers. I use it on a hard laminate floor with an anti-slip mat and it is quite silent.
