As a technically minded musician, John Price began by modifying his own instruments and equipping them with MIDI interfaces. Before long, he received numerous requests from other musicians for similar conversions. What began as a small series of custom modifications gradually developed into full-scale production and ultimately led to the founding of Kenton.
At its London headquarters, Kenton develops and manufactures MIDI interfaces, CV/Gate interfaces, DIN Sync solutions, MIDI controllers, circuit boards for self-installation and other practical tools for connecting and controlling electronic instruments. The company also offers on-site modification services.
Kenton products are used worldwide by musicians, theatres, event organisers, television companies and radio broadcasters. For decades, the brand has stood for carefully designed technical solutions that make it possible to integrate both vintage and modern instruments into existing setups with maximum flexibility.
