Our "rating guidelines"

Dear customer,

thank you for being interested in our customer ratings.
They are very helpful for you and other customers who are looking for an objective opinion about articles in our shop.

Please follow these basic rules in order to make sure that your contribution is approved by our editorial staff:

Please write only real, authentic ratings/reviews!
Our editorial staff reserves the right to review your text in order to prevent covert advertising.

Please do not generalize!
Your rating should only refer to the product and not the manufacturer or entire product ranges, etc.

Please give a rating only after you have had the time for a thorough testing of the product. It wouldn't be in your and our best interest to read a rating by someone who doesn't have a real knowledge of the product in question.

Please make your rating as detailed as possible!
Very short ratings like "guitar is great" usually aren't rated as helpful by other customers. Comprehensive reviews are most likely to be rated as helpful and appear at the top of the list.

You are only rating the product!
Attendant circumstances like shipping, telephone support, etc., should not be part of your rating. Please use our contact form for these purposes.

Please give a factual and fair rating!
Even if you should have a good reason for venting your anger: avoid vulgarity and give your opinion on a factual level.

Please refrain from using external web-links!
By law, we are liable for the content of external links but we do not have the possibility to control every single one, so please do not link external sites like YouTube, your own websites, etc.

Please allow us to improve readability if needed.
In order to achieve a better readability, we reserve the right to correct spelling errors or insert paragraphs, etc.
