The Ibanez S771PB features a sculpted lightweight mahogany body that is topped with a piece of highly figured burled poplar that instantly makes it stand out in any crowd and sets it apart from its standard S-model brothers and sisters. Joining the body is an incredibly thin and fast three-piece Wizard III maple neck that is finished with a highly playable 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with white offset dot inlays.
The body of the Ibanez S771PB is equipped with a set of own-brand Infinity HSH pickups, in this case an alnico humbucker at the neck, an alnico single coil in the middle position and a powerful ceramic humbucker at the bridge, that provide the ideal combination of tone, dynamics and versatility. These are controlled by a five-way blade-style pickup selector switch that only adds to the incredible versatility of the setup.
To round things off, the S771PB in Natural Flat is fitted with a standard fixed bridge that allows for quick tuning and string changes, master tone and volume controls and Cosmo Black hardware.
