With the innovative Tiny Terror, the traditional Orange British manufacturer presented the first Luchbox amplifier in tube design in 2006 and proved with the small poison dwarf that great sound and transport-friendly dimensions do not have to be mutually exclusive. Since then, compact tube tops have enjoyed unbroken popularity.
In order to celebrate the tenth anniversary of its successful model, which the trade press describes as the most important innovation of the past 30 years, Orange a limited edition of 110 pieces worldwide will be launched to lift the concept of the Tiny Terror into new spheres.
The highly polished stainless steel hood conceals a finely hand-wired "point-to-point" amplifier circuit that promises incomparable dynamics and sound quality with its short signal paths. Two ECC83 in the preamp and two EL84 in the power amp for the pure, organic tube sound, which can be adjusted from crystal clear Clean to classic British Overdrive group with the help of the Gain - and volume controls. An effectively working tone control is available to adjust the sound.
Thanks to the Halfpower circuitry, the Tiny Terror 10th Anniversary can also unfold its full power of sound at a volume suitable for living rooms.
The British Racing Green cabinet of the Orange Tiny Terror 10th Anniversary Stack presents itself as a perfect addition to the top. Two Celestion G10 Alnico loudspeakers, with their creamy midrange reproduction, tight bass and transparent treble, are a perfect match for the sound character of the Tiny Terror, while the semi-open construction of the Multiplex cabinet ensures a three-dimensional and open distribution of the sound.
Each Orange Tiny Terror 10th Anniversary Stack comes with a certificate signed by Orange founder and CEO Cliff Cooper.
