The profiling process is now even more precise, capturing over 100,000 frequency points while seamlessly integrating the original gain and tone behavior into each amp profile. Housed in a classic top format, the Kemper Profiler PowerHead MK 2 features a powerful 600-watt Class D power amplifier that is perfect for rehearsal spaces, live stages, and driving passive cabinets. With an expanded selection of effects, optimized performance, 8-channel USB recording, and next-generation profiling, the Profiler PowerHead MK 2 delivers uncompromising sound quality and maximum routing flexibility for both live and studio applications in one unit.
The Profiler Remote MK 2 is the updated version of Kemper’s trusted floor controller. It is an ideal partner for the new MK 2 series, as well as the Profiler Head MK 2, Profiler Rack MK 2, or even older Kemper models. Offering direct control over all essential Kemper functions, it is an indispensable tool for both rehearsals and live shows. Extended effect slots, faster preset switching, USB multitrack audio, and an updated performance mode make it more essential than ever to have instant access to sounds, effects, and live functions. In addition to rig changes and effects bypass, it also provides quick access to tap tempo, tuner, and looper functions.
A major highlight of the MK 2 series is the expanded effects section. Instead of the previous 13, you can now run up to 20 effect blocks simultaneously. Seven new FX slots, including a second noise gate, compressor, wah, vintage chorus, air chorus, and double tracker, offer more creative possibilities than ever before. Classic effects like delay, reverb, and modulation remain directly accessible via dedicated controls and buttons. The looper has also been upgraded, now offering up to two minutes of recording time for more creative flexibility. At the core of the Profiler PowerHead MK 2 is a modernized processor platform that delivers faster boot times of around 20 seconds and much smoother operation when switching presets or navigating menus, which is particularly noticeable in performance mode.
The MK 2 supports 8 native USB channels, enabling multitrack recording and reamping directly into your DAW without the need for an additional audio interface. The newly introduced Liquid Profiling technology delivers profiles with over 100,000 frequency points, dynamic cabinet resonance, and a hyper-realistic playing feel thanks to hybrid measurement methods, bringing Kemper’s amp models even closer to the real thing.
The Profiler PowerHead MK 2 retains Kemper’s intuitive, performance-focused workflow. Key functions such as gain, master volume, noise gate, EQ, modulation, delay, and reverb are all accessible via dedicated controls. Modes for browsing, performing, and profiling are quickly selected with the rotary switch. Extended control is easy via plug-and-play integration with the Profiler Remote MK 2, as well as compatibility with external pedals and footswitches. The connection options remain extensive, with multiple jack and XLR outputs for monitor, main, and direct out, MIDI in/out/thru, USB A/B, SPDIF, and ground lift switches for clean, interference-free routing.
