The electrical sound conversion of the Sandberg California Nighthawk TM5 is provided by pickups of the Sandberg Black Label Series , a single coil in the middle position and a humbucker on the bridge . The deliver versatile rock and metal sounds ranging from gnarled, aggressive mid-growl with high assertiveness of the humbucker to the deep, yet transparent bass foundation of the single coil. Naturally the low B-string is perfectly integrated into the sound with precise articulation. The humbucker can also be split via the split switch for authentic single-coil sounds, while the musically tuned 2-band EQ allows precise adjustments to the timbre.
High-quality hardware harmoniously rounds off the features of the Sandberg California Nighthawk TM5 PF. The large aluminium pickguard with its brushed hairline surface fits perfectly into the overall picture and serves as a carrier for the single coil and all electronics.
