The combination of six versatile combinable effect modules makes it possible to combine authentic vintage sound aesthetics with modern production possibilities.
RC-20 was developed to recreate the typical characteristics of old recording and playback technology. These include tape hiss, vinyl artifacts, pitch instability, analog saturation or bit reduction, which are particularly popular in lo-fi, hip-hop or indie sound design.
The individual effect modules can be used independently or combined with each other to create unique timbres.

Noise - authentic analog background noises
The noise module adds realistic background noises. These include vinyl crackling, tape hiss, studio ambience or electronic noise, which give a production more depth and authenticity.
Wobble - pitch fluctuations like on tape machines
The Wobble module can be used to create pitch instabilities that are typical of old record players or tape machines. This creates organic movement and a vintage sound full of character.
Distort - from analog saturation to fuzz
The Distort module delivers everything from subtle tape saturation to aggressive distortion effects. Ideal for adding punch and character to drums, bass or synths.
Digital Degrader - vintage sampler and bitcrusher
The Degrader reproduces the sound of early digital devices and samplers. Reduced bit and sample rates provide the typical retro digital sound.
Space - atmosphere and depth
The integrated reverb module expands the sound and spatial depth and width and makes tracks sound more organic and lively.
Magnetic - tape machine character
Magnetic can be used to simulate drop-outs and volume losses caused by tape wear. This creates an authentic tape character.
The central magnitude slider makes it possible to control the intensity of all effects simultaneously. This allows you to quickly create transitions, drops or creative changes in the arrangement.
