This is a sturdy, functional clamping unit that wont let you down, no matter how hard you push it. Great price, great unit. Recommended for all applications where a heavy-duty clamp at twice the price is just a little bit of overkill.

I use this clamp to hold my 13 x 11 tom and it works perfectly. I had my tom on a yamaha stand that last for 20 years of shows, reharsals and pratices.
