Based on the cult device TB-303 Roland , TB-3 Touch Bassline the bar is raised again.
This Bass Synthesizer includes everything that could already be found in the TB-303, but everything in a modern look, the heart is the pressure-sensitive touch pad for intuitive operation.
After the release of the TB-303 in 1981, it later became an indispensable bass Synthesizer instrument for the dance music scene. For the development of the TB-303, all details of the sound generation TB-3 Touch Bassline were analyzed in detail and reproduced using analog Circuit behavior technology. This made it possible to reproduce the oscillators of the sawtooth and square waveforms, including the -18dB/Octave Low Pass filter of the original TB-303 with its incomparable sound character of cutoff frequency and resonance. It TB-3 features 134 sounds including the classic TB-303 sounds with exceptional sound character, including synth bass, hard distortion bass, Delay sounds and other unusual effects.
The new TB-3 one features bright green and red pressure-sensitive touch pads that allow you to record and play back patterns live without interrupting your workflow. Man and machine are in constant interaction. Not only can you control pitch and volume, but you can also manipulate the filter and add modulations by pressing a pad. Playing the keyboard just feels fantastic.

A TB Bassline not only sounds unique, but also feels special. The TB pulsates, it grooved, it lives. Roland has redesigned the sound behaviour of TB-303 parameters such as Accent, Slide and the playing behaviour of the Step Sequencer in an inimitable way.
The TB-3 newly developed Step Sequencer is intuitive to use and enables a seamless transition between recording and playing a pattern.
A charming feature of the TB-303 was how it arbitrarily generated patterns while entering a pattern due to the complexity of the process.
It TB-3 can simulate this kind of random generation of a pattern as well as generate a pattern automatically.
The Scatter function TB-3 generates various effects, such as slicing, reverse, gate and others with different variation possibilities, stutter effects, pitch slip effects and more. All this in real time and no comparison to complicated editing processes in a DAW software. Complex sequences are controlled very easily and comfortably per single step with the Touch Pad and a finger. Eight different scatter variations and 10 Scatter Depth volume settings allow for a high degree of versatility - all in real time and always in sync with your game.
It TB-3 can be connected to a computer via USB. This makes it possible to supply the device with power via the computer and to exchange audio and MIDI data. It TB-3 can be synchronized with external MIDI devices via MIDI clock data, including AIRA series devices.
