The Toontrack Synth Bass EBX expansion pack for EZbass presents a collection of different bass sounds with fresh, organic vintage vibes, but also modern sound design.
For this EBX, six carefully selected hardware synthesizers were sampled as a basis. The design team then added sonic layers of field recording noise, modular synthesis, granular module tones, foley and various other environments to create richly textured and layered bass sounds. Then all sounds were individually processed, saturated and routed through vintagehardware compressors, equalizers and tube effects units for added organic warmth, grit and gain. The result? A premium collection of 85 hybrid synth bass sounds that cover the entire spectrum from tight, percussive, clean and pristine to thunderous, drone-like ambient sounds, dirty, distorted and aggressive.
In addition to the sounds, a basic collection of MIDI building blocks as well as basic melodic and arpeggiated patterns unique to the product are included.
