The BBC Symphony Orchestra Piano Professional is a first-class virtual instrument library that faithfully captures the authentic sound world of a Steinway Model D concert grand piano. Recorded at the legendary Maida Vale Studios, renowned for its unique acoustics and home to the BBC Symphony Orchestra, this plugin delivers a rich, expressive piano sound that can be perfectly integrated into any orchestral production or used as a stand-alone instrument.

The Professional version offers 15 different microphone signals, making it possible to create customized sound mixes to meet the specific requirements of any project. There are two preconfigured mixes to choose from: A classic orchestral mix and a broad, cinematic sound. Other key features include dynamic control of the piano sound, including the adjustment of pedal and hammer noises as well as reverb and tightness options that make the playing feel even more realistic.

Seamless integration into the BBC Symphony Orchestra product line allows the piano to be used in combination with other orchestral instruments, with Spitfire's innovative Mode Switching technology facilitating collaboration with other composers regardless of the edition used.
