Rodec has been synonymous with high quality audio technology and innovation since 1954. Founded by Roger Declercq, the company began with the custom manufacture of radios, amplifiers and loudspeakers. In 1970, Rodec revolutionised the industry by offering the first mixing console with faders. In the 1980s, with the rise of house music, Rodec mixing consoles became the standard in clubs around the world. The MX-180, launched in 1990, expanded the product range and inspired DJs and musicians around the world. Despite its growing popularity, Rodec remained an artisan company with limited production runs that stood for uncompromising quality, robust construction and iconic sound. After a hiatus in production, Rodec returned in 2021 under the leadership of CEO Tom De Ridder. A passionate music producer, De Ridder continues the vision of developing premium analogue gear for studio and stage applications. The focus is on modularity and sound quality. Rodec offers tools that enable artists to maximise their creativity - with tradition, quality and a great passion for music.
