Once you get the basics, you will soon discover all of the possibilities of Intro by trying and using the different tools/effects. Im using it for a while now and I must admit that Im addicted to Ableton. The unique thing about Ableton is Time warp which makes that you can easily stretch or compress your sound in a few clicks. Its interesting to create new sounds or to use it as a DJ.
Dont be fooled by the name Intro, because its more than an introduction to the Ableton software. Its a package with lots of options and possibilities, but its more limited in instruments, samples, effects,... than the higher versions but that doesnt mean that Intro cannot fulfill your expectations. Intro contains everything to create great music.
Conclusion? Intro is amazing! It has also a correct price for what you get. Its the perfect software to begin with, and when you want more you can upgrade to get endless possibilities. The great thing about Intro is also that you can upgrade this version in no time to the Standard or Suite Edition.
