De Lightscale DJ - Stand Plus is een innovatief, modulair standaardsysteem voor DJ- en studioapparatuur. Het DJ-standaardsysteem is ultralicht in vergelijking met conventionele metalen systemen en kan binnen enkele seconden worden gemonteerd. De set bestaat uit twee schuimplaten en twee kleine schuimelementen plus twee 50 cm brede kunststof buizen en biedt een veilige standaard voor bijvoorbeeld laptops, controllers, pads, toetsenborden en mixers. Bovendien is de in Duitsland ontwikkelde en geproduceerde Lightscale DJ - Stand Plus door zijn hoge stabiliteit en onovertroffen lage gewicht perfect geschikt voor touring DJ's en vliegtuigtransport.

The product is a great idea that tries to solve several issues for touring musicians/DJs in that the tables and equipment are sometimes too low and/or not enough space. The lightscale solution is to provide extremely sturdy, but still super light materials that can be taken with you and setup quickly, not taking up too much space or weight.
I think it’s super successful in the approach, however the length of the bars that connect the hard foam prices varies with each set, and it’s hard to make two layers with multiple sets. I use my sets now in the studio, but would prefer if they also sold loose bars of different lengths, as it required me to buy multiple sets to build the stands I wanted. Also, it’s pretty expensive for what it is.
Do remember that these are nearly vibration proof as well, though, and can act as feedback reducers for certain kit.
