The Clover Xpression 4M Walnut convinces with a modern feel and flexible sounds, which make it the ideal workhorse for stage and recording studio. The four-string has a mahogany body with a chic top made of walnut wood, while the screwed neck is made of maple. On the amplifier, Seymour Duncan pickups in conjunction with the active 3-band tone control provide variable sounds that lay the foundation for almost any music style. Last but not least, the Clover Xpression is equipped with a solid brass bridge and precise Gotoh tuners.
For the construction of the Clover Expression 4M Walnut, carefully selected woods are used, which together form the basis for a powerful and quickly appealing sound. Accordingly, the body is made of mahogany with a walnut top, while the sixfold screwed neck is made of Canadian maple and carries a rosewood fingerboard. The generously contoured armrest on the body and the perfectly proportioned neck profile ensure comfortable playability.
On the bass amplifier the Clover Xpression 4M Walnut shows an enormous tonal variety, which predestines it for use in almost every musical style. The Seymour Ducnan SMB-4A humbucker with Alnico V magnets delivers a powerful, assertive sound with an abyssal bass foundation and brilliant, glittering highs, while in the middle position a Seymour Duncan SJB single coil delivers warm yet transparent sound images with precise detail. Furthermore, the Clover Xpression 4M Walnut is equipped with an active 3-band tone control, which allows an exact tuning of the sound image over the character-forming frequency ranges.
Last but not least, the Clover Xpression 4M Walnut is equipped with high-quality hardware. On the body is the extremely solid Clover Brass Bridge, which contributes to the detailed sound development and the long sustain of the bass. Adjustable string riders in three dimensions allow an exact adjustment of intonation, string position and string spacing. In addition, Gotoh tuners at the headstock ensure precise tuning.
