The CS6001 is a cymbal stand from the Flat Base series by Fame. Flat Base stands and tripods have a very flat base, as known from grandfather's times, and are therefore first choice for vintage setups and a corresponding retro look. But thanks to the flat foot they can also help with space problems in modern setups.
Drumsets in retro-look are currently enjoying great popularity, various manufacturers have vintage or classic series in their program, which have the design of the fifties and sixties as their theme. This noble look naturally requires appropriate hardware, and this is where Fame's 6000 flat base hardware comes into play. It offers cymbal, hihat and snare stands with the design from the middle of the last century, combined with the technology and processing standards of today.
But the flat base hardware offers advantages not only visually, but also in terms of performance. The combination of tripods with flat and with conventional base allows significantly more parts to be accommodated in a very small space.
