FENDER Pre-Wired Pickguard Strat SSS Fat '50s Tortoise Shell
Pre-wired pickguard featuring three Fender Fat '50s Single Coils
The Fender Pre-Wired Pickguard Strat SSS Fat '50s delivers the classic sound of the fifties. Three Fat '50s single coils from the Fender Custom Shop produce the sound of the early Strats with additional bass using stepped and hand-ground Alnico V magnets and moderate Formvar winding. For hum-free performances in the intermediate positions 2 and 4, the middle pickup is additionally reverse-polarisedand wound. This pre-wired pickguard can easily be replaced with standard 11-hole Strat pickguards.
