Kenton Modular Solo is a high quality and fast MIDI/CV converter with many functions in Eurorack format. The module is identical in many respects to the Kenton ProSolo but offers some additional functions such as clock splitters and more as well as more flexible AUX outputs.
Wide range of functions for Eurorack modular systems:
V/Octave and Hz/V characteristics. Works also with old Korg synthesizers
Works on any MIDI channel
16-bit D/A converter for the pitch CV guarantees most accurate and stable CVs.
The pitch CV and the gate can be sent to Doepfer's internal A-100 bus via the power supply cable (adjustable with jumper).
The MIDI OUT jack can act as MIDI Thru or DIN sync output.
Multiple and single trigger mode
Note priority: highest, lowest or last key pressed. Note memory allows trill effects.
Portamento with fixed or adjustable time, can be activated by MIDI controller; auto portamento for legato play
MIDI-synchronizable LFO with 9 waveforms, random. The sync point of the LFO can be set at the push of a button. Separate LFO controllers for CV and AUX.
Transpose aka CoarseTune (+/- 12halftones).
Pitchbend (+/-12 semitones).
Fine tune and scale adjustable via controller
All parameters can be edited in real time via SysEx
