The Line 6 HX Effects takes the effects section of the Line 6 Helix guitar processor and squeezes it into a compact multi-effect pedal that follows the tradition of popular modelling stomp boxes and gives classic rigs and set ups new sonic dimensions.
HX Audio Engine with Detailed Effect Simulation
The HX Audio Engine is able to provide faithful reproductions of popular effects through detailed simulations of the very circuits of the effects themselves. Whether it be something as simple as an overdrive or as in depth as a delay or reverb, every guitar and bass effect is digitally reproduced with lively dynamics and an extremely low background noise level. In addition, the Line 6 HX Effects features an integrated looper and the ability to load Impulse Responses.
Comfortable Operation
The Line 6 HX Effects comes loaded with features as well as an amazingly simple and intuitive usability that players of all levels will have confidence exploring. Through the innovative combination of customizable foot switches, each with its own "scribble strip" display and the minimalist control panel, the HX Effects can be operated like a regular pedalboard. Effects can also be tweaked to user preference and presets can be assigned via computer using the Line 6 HX Edit software included.
Extensive Connections
The Line 6 HX Effects is equipped with connections that allow the device to be easily integrated into most existing live or recording setups. In addition to the stereo inputs and outputs, a multifunctional effects loop is included which can be used either as a stereo loop or as two mono loops. The "Pedal / Ext. Amp" connectors can either be used to connect optional expression pedals for effect control, or to control a guitar amp. In addition, the Line 6 HX Effects features MIDI ports and a USB port for connecting to the computer.
