The Music Man BFR Sabre Half Baked is a limited edition model of the Ball Family Reserve with carefully selected tonewoods and a number of special appointments. With the especially evenly flamed maple top, a Black Limba body, the exquisite Roasted Maple neck, and Custom Wound pickups, the electric guitar turns out to be an absolute collector's item with outstanding sound and playing characteristics.

For the construction of the BFR Sabre Half Baked the Luthiers from San Luis Obispo rely on the classic bolt-on construction and noble tonewoods. While the Black Limba body lies comfortably on the player thanks to the generous Tummy Cut, the arched curly maple top in red Burst Finish underlines the noble look of the electric guitar. An absolute highlight is furthermore the fivefold bolted Roasted Flame Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, whose silky oil-wax finish together with the slim C-profile promises best playing characteristics up to the highest registers.

Music Man Custom Wound Humbuckers with 5-way switching promise a versatile sound spectrum for almost any style of music.

Custom Wound Humbucker

As pickup for the BFR Sabre Music Man chooses two Custom Wound Humbuckers, which deliver a surprisingly wide sound spectrum thanks to the 5-way circuit. The neck pickup is equipped with Ceramic 6 magnets and promises a warm, but still clear sound for clean played chords or singing solos. The bridge pickup, on the other hand, features Alnico V magnets and a slightly raised Output for juicy overdrive sounds with precise representation of every note.

Modern Tremolo and Locking Tuner

The bridge on the BFR Sabre Half Baked electric guitar from Music Man is a modern 2-point tremolo, whose smooth handling allows lively ornamentation of melodies and chords. The edge-free crescent cover also provides a comfortable rest for the heel of the hand.
