For the extremely convenient design of the Music Man StingRay RS, the Luthiers of the Californian company rely on a body made of African mahogany, whose subtle offset design promises an optimal balance on the strap and on the thigh. With its silky oil-wax finish, the 5-bolt neck made of roasted figured maple also offers a distinctly pleasant feel, so that together with the sculpted neck joint, it provides a smooth playability.
