With the Ortega RGL5EB-CE Guitarlele, the manufacturer Ortega is expanding its range to include an electro-acoustic instrument with a striking ebony finish, which is the perfect companion, particularly for travelling guitar and ukulele enthusiasts. Thanks to its construction from finely laminated ebony, the Guitarlele produces a rich sound that can be amplified using an Ortega MagusUkePiezo pickup system. Due to its short scale length of 435 mm, the instrument is tuned to standard A and thus produces the characteristic sound of a ukulele. The additional Cutaway allows perfect access to all 18 frets, meaning that the playability is, in turn, very similar to that of a guitar. Its Open Pore Finishgold-coloured tuning machines and a Tortoise Binding round off the instrument perfectly in every respect.
