Premium USB 2.0 audio and MIDI interface

Steinberg's UR-RT4 is a premium USB 2.0 audio and MIDI interface with four inputs, two outputs, MIDI input and output and 1switchable transformers from Rupert Neve Designs at the front. The combination of Neves transformers and the built-in, high-quality D-PRE preamps provides an excellent musical and expressive sound with a rich overtone spectrum. High-quality converters with a maximum sampling rate of 192 kHz and 24-bit resolution guarantee the highest audio quality. This studio interface is therefore particularly suitable for vocals, acoustic guitars and other instruments with a high dynamic range. The mobile production solution also has convenient connection options for laptop and iPad as well as an integrated SSP2 DSP chip for latency-free monitoring with effects.

Rupert Neve Designs Transformers & D-PRE

Rupert Neve is undoubtedly a legend in the professional audio industry. Its transformer circuits provide a pleasant touch of natural saturation and compression to give the recording that certain something. The UR-RT2 now brings this high-quality sound to home studios with one particular advantage: these transformers can simply be deactivated as required. The natural sound of the D-PRE is always available by switching it off. Highly praised by industry giants and trade press, these preamplifiers convinced with detailed treble, flawless dynamic response and full, round bass. Thus the user gets the best of both worlds.

DAW Integration through dspMixFx

Of course, the URRT series not only works perfectly with Cubase, but also with any other common DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). A built-in Chp called SSP2 DSP and the latest dspMixFX technology enable latency-free monitoring with DSP-based effects. The product includes Cubase AI DAW software as download version for Mac and PC (only for 64 bit environments) and the Cubase LE DAW App for iPad.
