With the 412ce-R, Taylor offers a solid Grand Concert from the popular 400 series, which comes with Indian rosewood instead of an Ovangkol body. In combination with a Sitka spruce top, the result is a well-balanced sound with clearly defined bass, nuanced and striking mids and brilliant highs. This makes the Taylor 412ce-R ideal for playing with other instruments, as the powerful mid-high tones were well established. The 2018 model also features stylish Renaissance fingerboard inlays.
In addition, the shortened scale length of 632mm provides soft playability due to the lower tensile force. A compensated Micarta bridge inlay ensures clean intonation and a flat string position, while chrome-plated die-cast mechanisms keep the tuning clean and ensure precise tuning. This Grand Concert is suitable for the stage with the Taylor ES-2 pickup system, which transmits the outstanding sound of the guitar with natural balance and captivating dynamics. Last but not least, a case is already included in the scope of delivery.
