The Mod DelayCartridge

The map brings different forms of animation to the delay lines. These types of algorithms extend the signal path of delay effects by adding processing and routing of the audio signal. Each program adds different processing like diffusion, chorus, panning and other modulation to the basic mono or dual delay line structure.

The Spirals Cartridge

Spirals is a pitch and multi-tap delay card for the Z-DSP. This card uses numerous multi-tap delay techniques in combination with two pitch shifters to create a wide range of harmonizing chorus, echo and harmonic reverb sounds. The programs on this card are based on the complex algorithms of high-end studio effect processors, which are simplified on the card.

The Hydra Cartridge

Hydra creates a buffered delay line and simultaneously a series of rhythmic and spatial effects with several tap delays. The Spread parameter strikes out rhythmic variations, so that some of the programs close the gap between individual delays and reverb by diffusion, while others create rhythmic patterns with taps. The basic Hydra algorithm sums the inputs to mono and writes the signal into a single delay line. Several output taps are taken from the delay line and distributed via the stereo outputs.
