Zebra2 is a software synthesizer from u-he, which meets with enthusiasm worldwide thanks to its many and special features. It combines various synthesis techniques with a powerful modulation engine. For example, you can create additive, spline-based or freehand drawn waveforms, use different spectral effects, morph between the mentioned waveforms and chase everything together through classical synth filters. Why not just use the generated sound as a modulator for the FM oscillator section or route it through a comb filter? The possibilities seem endless and yet Zebra 2 remains clear - the practical interface only ever shows the modules that are also in use. Together with a crystal clear sound quality this synthesizer belongs to the candidates, who prove to be the favourite of many musicians and sound designers over the years and always find a way into current projects.
